Description
This class is designed for our more advanced blooming artists who have a serious interest in art. This class will encourage students to get out of their comfort zone and grow their foundational art skills in a supportive environment. Whether your preteens or teens just truly love creating or are preparing a portfolio for school, this class is for them! All supplies are included for this class but students are welcome to bring their own. If you're unsure whether this class is the right fit for your blooming artists, please contact us!

We'll experience LOTS of different mediums! From shading and color mixing to hand building and glazing, students will gain valuable exposure to the arts in a supportive & fun environment!

Description
Let your homeschoolers explore the wonderful worlds of drawing, painting, pottery, and more during our Homeschool Art School course. Students will be guided based on their own needs, talents, & skills. From shading and color mixing to hand building and glazing, we will have a lot of fun while developing as artists. The first week of each month is Art History Week! Students will have a formal lesson about art history, starting with the Paleolithic Age through our contemporary time, during the first class of each month (and we'll continue learning as we complete our projects!). Students can bring a notebook to take notes so they can continue applying their knowledge at home!

Description
Every professional artist started somewhere! During this 6 week course, your blooming artist(s) will receive foundational instruction which they can continue to build upon from a professional artist and grade school/college prep teacher. No matter their current experience level, each young artist will gain valuable skills and experience to give them the confidence necessary to succeed. Lessons on perspective, composition, color theory, interpretation, and more will be taught in a supportive and encouraging environment.
