Learn the art of hand building with clay in this hands-on, beginner-friendly 4 week course! Led by artist Ilona Zabolotna, students will explore the foundational techniques of hand building pottery, including pinch pots, coil building, slab construction, and surface decoration. Whether you're completely new to clay or looking to refresh your skills, this course offers a relaxed, creative environment where you’ll learn to shape and form your own functional or decorative ceramic pieces.

Description
Learn how to draw in this introductory drawing course with learned artist Ilona Zabolotna. Drawing is an absolutely fundamental skill worth mastering--- no matter your medium of choice! Students will learn about how to "see" as an artist. Lessons on perspective, composition, contouring, shading, and color value will be given as students are guided through the rendering process. This 6 week course is perfect for those who are brand-new beginners or those who could benefit from a refresher. This session will focus on perspective. Cynthia will personally walk you through several different lessons and techniques such as composition, perspective, color mixing, brush work and more with the assumption that you've never painted before. If you have painted before but want to develop your skills in a focused and personalized environment, Cynthia will meet you where you're at.

Description
Let your children & teens experience it all during our Youth Art School course! Students will be exposed to many different mediums through drawing, painting, and ceramic lessons. Your blooming artists will be guided based on their needs and interests by our instructors and will be provided the tools necessary to build their artistic skillset and discover what they love. We'll have lots of fun while developing our talents week after week.
