Learn the art of painting with a palette knife during this 1 day workshop with local artist Ilona Zabolotna. Students will learn various skills and techniques for painting expressive, dramatic renderings with the knife. Students will learn how to create movement in their work via impasto application of paint on their canvas. Ilona will guide students through the completion of the painting shown. Description
Learn the basics of stained glass and leave with a stained glass succulent (as pictured) during this 4 hour workshop led by experienced stained glass artist Meri Herold! You’ll learn the fundamentals of stained glass and will gain hands-on experience with glass cutting and breaking, foiling, and soldering. Students will use their new skills to assemble their own no-fuss succulent. All supplies for your creation are included, but students are asked to bring safety glasses and gardening gloves. Secure footwear is a must-- no open-toed shoes! All other supplies are provided for this workshop (+ $15 due at booking). Please note that this workshop is very hands on, whether you're a brand-new beginner or have some previous experience with this medium!

​Description
Come and learn the basics for this meditative art form during this 1 day workshop! Nature is the heart of Chinese brush painting. It is intended to be a meditative and spontaneous art form, capturing the essence of an image or idea with very little attention to precise details. Using the “Four Treasures,” the brush, ink stick, ink stone and the paper, you will learn the techniques to create the “Four Gentleman,” the bamboo, orchid, plum and chrysanthemum. Each “Gentleman” introduces a new stroke or idea and reinforces techniques already learned. Continual demonstrations will be provided throughout the workshop along with individual attention. This workshop will concentrate on learning the brush strokes to create the bamboo. All supplies will be provided (+ $10 due at booking).
Linda Schultz has an MS in Art Education and a Certificate of Completion from the prestigious Art Form Gallery for Studies in Chinese Brush Painting. She has studied with various experts and master painters for more than two decades, including in the city of Jan Ying, China. Linda's work is in many private collections and galleries.

Learn how to paint with acrylics in this Private Studio Session. Cynthia will personally walk you through several different lessons and techniques such as composition, perspective, color mixing, brush work and more with the assumption that you've never painted before. If you have painted before but want to develop your skills in a focused and personalized environment, Cynthia will meet you where you're at.
*After your private, 1-on-1 session, you are welcomed and encouraged to continue your work during our Perpetual Acrylic Painting sessions (10am-12pm | $25/Session or $75/Monthly Bundle). Description
Let your child(ren) explore the wonderful worlds of drawing, painting, pottery, and more during our homeschool art school course. The student(s) will be introduced to new techniques and skills and guided based on their own needs, talents, & skills. From shading and color mixing to hand building and glazing, we will have a lot of fun while developing as artists. The first week of each month is Art History Week! Students will learn about art history, starting with the Paleolithic Age through our contemporary time, during the first class of each month. We will spend about half of class learning (bring a notebook!) and the other half applying what we've learned through our own art projects.

​Description
Come and learn the basics for this meditative art form during this 1 day workshop! Nature is the heart of Chinese brush painting. It is intended to be a meditative and spontaneous art form, capturing the essence of an image or idea with very little attention to precise details. Using the “Four Treasures,” the brush, ink stick, ink stone and the paper, you will learn the techniques to create the “Four Gentleman,” the bamboo, orchid, plum and chrysanthemum. Each “Gentleman” introduces a new stroke or idea and reinforces techniques already learned. Continual demonstrations will be provided throughout the workshop along with individual attention. This workshop will concentrate on learning the brush strokes to create the bamboo. All supplies will be provided (+ $10 due at booking).
Linda Schultz has an MS in Art Education and a Certificate of Completion from the prestigious Art Form Gallery for Studies in Chinese Brush Painting. She has studied with various experts and master painters for more than two decades, including in the city of Jan Ying, China. Linda's work is in many private collections and galleries.

Learn the basics of stained glass and leave with a stained glass succulent (as pictured) during this 4 hour workshop led by experienced stained glass artist Meri Herold! You’ll learn the fundamentals of stained glass and will gain hands-on experience with glass cutting and breaking, foiling, and soldering. Students will use their new skills to assemble their own no-fuss succulent. All supplies for your creation are included, but students are asked to bring safety glasses and gardening gloves. Secure footwear is a must-- no open-toed shoes! All other supplies are provided for this workshop (+ $15 due at booking).
