Description
Join award-winning local artist Matt Kestner for a 1 day demo and workshop. This class will help students improve their drawing skills and is open to artists of all skill levels. Students will learn how to use gestural lines and dynamic light to create an emotionally-rich image using charcoal on paper.
Matt will offer a demo (free & open to the public) from 10am-12:30pm. The workshop will start after a half-hour break at 1pm. Workshop students are welcome to come early for the demo or just come for the workshop starting at 1pm. All supplies for this workshop are included.

Description
Join local artist Tim Dobert for a 1 day workshop! By the end of the class students will complete an impressionistic winter landscape that catches the mood, movement, and light of this pretty season. Students will learn how to let color and brushstrokes do the storytelling rather than relying on fine detail. This class is suitable for beginner through intermediate oil painters and for artists who want to loosen their style and paint more expressively. All supplies are included for this workshop.

Description
Join artist Nancy Lyons for a Botanical Drawing workshop. Spring is here and flowers are beginning to bloom! During this class students will learn the basics of Botanical Drawing. The process of Botanical Drawing begins with gradual toning with simple geometric shapes that turn into all the forms in nature. We will begin our forms by layering neutral tones and putting color on top with colored pencils. This process will make your piece appear three dimensional and pop off the page! By the end of class participants will have created their own version of these lovely Tulips. All supplies are included for this workshop, but students may bring their own colored pencils if desired.

Description
Join local artist Tim Dobert for a 1 day workshop!. This oil painting class will focus on capturing an atmosphere and creating mood through an impressionist landscape. Students will learn to simplify natural forms, build depth through color, value, and balance, and create softness with a diffuse background and selectively detailed elements. Emphasis will be placed on expressive brushwork, gentle movement, and composition. All levels are welcome for this class and all supplies are included.

Description
Learn the basics of stained glass and leave with a beautiful stained glass succulent during this 4 hour workshop led by Meri Herold, an expert stained glass artist and instructor. During this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of stained glass and will gain hands-on experience with glass cutting and breaking, foiling, and soldering as they create their own unique piece. All supplies for this creation are included, but students are asked to bring their own safety glasses and gardening gloves. Secure footwear is a must-- no open-toed shoes! Returning stained glass students are welcome and encouraged to continue furthering their skill during this class!

Join experienced watercolorist Karen J. F. Cooper, an award winning artist and Oakroom Artist, for a 2 day workshop. Learn how to capture the feeling and essence of subjects by exploring color, value, edges, design, and various techniques unique to watercolor during week 1. During week 2 students will be painting several small studies and learning the basics of how to frame artwork. By the end of these 2 classes, students will have a deeper understanding of the infinite possibilities of watercolor! All supplies are included for this workshop.

Camp Description
A 1 day All Day or Half Day Camp for your blooming artists! Students will have the opportunity to experience it all-- drawing, painting, clay, and more! They will be led by professional artists to develop their skills--while having much fun! All supplies are included for this workshop. Students must bring a packed lunch, water, and a snack for our breaks. Students should bring a smock or wear clothes they can get messy!
