Description
Hollyhocks are tall plants that are known for their towering stalks and vibrant flowers ,often symbolizing ambition and the circle of life. During this 2.5 hour class students will learn some history of botanical plates and the process of Botanical Drawing , which begins with gradual toning of simple geometric shapes that comprise all the forms in nature. We will begin our forms by layering neutral tones and adding top color on top with colored pencils. By the end of class students will have created their own version of this eye-catching perennial.

Description
As daytime becomes shorter and temperatures become cooler, leaves begin to change color and, thus, the season of Autumn begins! In this class students will learn some history of botanical plates and the process of Botanical Drawing, which begins with gradual toning of simple geometric shapes that comprise all the forms in nature. Join artist and jeweler Mary Dirolf for a jewelry workshop! During this class students will learn how to create wire wrapped loops to make a pair of dangle earrings. By mastering this technique, students will be equipped to not only make earrings, but bracelets and necklaces, too!

Description
Learn the art of needle felting during this creative and kinesthetic workshop! Needle felting is a tactile craft that transforms wool fibers into three dimensional works of art. Students will be guided step by step through the basics of shaping, blending, and decorating their artwork. By the end of this 2 day workshop students will leave with their own unique creation and a relaxing new hobby! All supplies are included for this workshop (+ $20 due at booking).

Camp Description
A 1 day All Day or Half Day Camp for your blooming artists! Students will have the opportunity to experience it all-- drawing, painting, clay, and more! They will be led by professional artists to develop their skills--while having much fun! All supplies are included for this workshop. Students must bring a packed lunch, water, and a snack for our breaks. Students should bring a smock or wear clothes they can get messy!​
