​Description
Come and learn the basics for this meditative art form during this 1 day workshop! Nature is the heart of Chinese brush painting. It is intended to be a meditative and spontaneous art form, capturing the essence of an image or idea with very little attention to precise details. Using the “Four Treasures,” the brush, ink stick, ink stone and the paper, you will learn the techniques to create the “Four Gentleman,” the bamboo, orchid, plum and chrysanthemum. Each “Gentleman” introduces a new stroke or idea and reinforces techniques already learned. Continual demonstrations will be provided throughout the workshop along with individual attention. This workshop will concentrate on learning the brush strokes to create the bamboo. All supplies will be provided (+ $10 due at booking).
Linda Schultz has an MS in Art Education and a Certificate of Completion from the prestigious Art Form Gallery for Studies in Chinese Brush Painting. She has studied with various experts and master painters for more than two decades, including in the city of Jan Ying, China. Linda's work is in many private collections and galleries.

Students will learn various skills and techniques for painting expressive, dramatic renderings with the knife. Students will learn how to create movement in their work via impasto application of paint on their canvas. Ilona will guide students through the completion of the painting shown. STAINED GLASS WORKSHOP

Description
Learn the basics of stained glass and leave with a stained glass succulent (as pictured) during this 4 hour workshop led by experienced stained glass artist Meri Herold! You’ll learn the fundamentals of stained glass and will gain hands-on experience with glass cutting and breaking, foiling, and soldering. Students will use their new skills to assemble their own no-fuss succulent. All supplies for your creation are included, but students are asked to bring safety glasses and gardening gloves. Secure footwear is a must-- no open-toed shoes! All other supplies are provided for this workshop (+ $15 due at booking). Please note that this workshop is very hands on, whether you're a brand-new beginner or have some previous experience with this medium!

Join experienced fluid artist Tracey Pagano for this 1 day 3D pour painting workshop! Pour painting is just what it sounds like-- a fluid, expressive art form that yields wonderful abstract results. 3D pour painting involves pour painting over a 3 dimensional object-- and in this workshop, that object is a pretty-shaped vase! Students will be led step-by-step to create this wonderful decoration! All supplies for this workshop are included. Students can bring up to two (2) stemmed glasses to decorate with their leftover paint!

Join us for this 1 day ceramic workshop! Students will use engobes to paint the bowl of their choice! Engobes are a mixture of clay, water, and color pigments that allow for detailed & precise application of color to greenware (clay work that hasn't yet been kiln fired), allowing its users to "paint" their pieces without compromising functionality. All of the bowls for this workshop were handmade here on our pottery wheels and are one-of-a-kind... bowls will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis at start of workshop. After this workshop student work will be bisque fired, clear glazed, and glaze fired; work will be ready for pick up within 4 weeks!
