Description
Learn the art of hand building with clay in this hands-on, beginner-friendly 4 week course! Led by artist Ilona Zabolotna, students will explore the foundational techniques of hand building pottery, including pinch pots, coil building, slab construction, and surface decoration. Whether you're completely new to clay or looking to refresh your skills, this course offers a relaxed, creative environment where you’ll learn to shape and form your own functional or decorative ceramic pieces.

Learn how to throw on a potter’s wheel with learned instructor Ilona Zabolotna in this 6 week course! You’ll spend time honing your skills on the potter’s wheel, learning how to trim your work, and discovering how to glaze your pieces to intentional completion. This course is perfect for those wanting an introduction to basic techniques.

Come explore pottery with us! Try your hands at the pottery wheel and learn basic throwing techniques during this 2 hour introductory class. This class is great for those who have never done pottery before and want to give it a go without committing to a course just yet. All supplies, including clay and pottery tools, are included for this class. Students should not expect to produce any work to be fired or taken home; rather, students should expect to gain hands on experience and learn if pottery is for them!
