Students will gain hands-on experience with the artform as they learn to transfer designs, carve, and handprint their carvings onto paper with water-based ink. Linocut prints are like snowflakes… although they come from the same carved block, no two are exactly alike! The hand printing process allows for natural variations to shine through, making each one unique. Students will have the option to recreate the instructors imagery or create their own, and can expect to walk away with several 5x7 linocut prints! All supplies are provided for this workshop (+ $15 due at booking).
