Through my work I tell the stories of my observations about American culture and events from my own life. Humor is an important component in my stories and I use what I call a cartoony figurative style to aid me with the depictions. Other important features are color that adds to the theme and the mood of a tale plus action. The scenes that I present are usually exaggerated versions of whatever theme I've chosen and I like to have the characters interacting with each other sometimes in a boisterous way. The three pieces I have submitted are colored pencil on paper and framed by me with elements from the scenes. The frames are roofing aluminum painted with oils for two of them and acrylics for one.
