In our world, that which is is never forever. New chapters lead to endings, and endings to new beginnings–new first pages. Turn the Page, featuring the varied works of artists from around our community, visualizes this, reflecting on that which was, that which is, and that which is to come.

Like the fall, a page turn is both an ending and a beginning. It is also a process and a time of transformation. Sometimes the page must turn–seasons change, whether we want them to or not. But other times we may choose whether or not we turn the page. The same can be said for the books composed of these pages.

Sometimes the page turn is met with reluctance; other times, with anticipation. There are books that we never want to end, and others that we may only start by force. Still–sometimes we are surprised. For not all endings and beginnings meet our expectations, even if we read the blurb and the reviews.

Turn the Page welcomes us to the present, when and where past and future integration meet. To the union of memory, perspective, and projection. To the space that turns possibility into certainty–if only until the next story begins. Join us between September 16 - October 31 to experience this collection in the here and now.​
