Kathie will guide you through a variety of paintings throughout this 6 week course, which will enable you to become familiar with the beautiful medium of pastel. Kathie will share her knowledge of not only the materials that a pastelist utilizes but also a variety of techniques that are at your disposal in order to achieve a luminescent painting.  We will also discuss composition, color and value (the workhorse in every great painting). The beauty that surrounds us each and every day is something to be savored and as an artist we challenge ourselves to try and capture the essence of those moments that we are fortunate enough to gaze upon!

Sorry, there are no refunds for missed classes (unless otherwise stated on our website). If you cannot attend all listed classes, we cannot adjust the pricing. If you must miss a class, please kindly notify us as soon as possible and at least 48 hours in advance. If we need to adjust any class dates, you will be notified ahead of time via email or phone. Please check your email (including your spam folder) and your voicemail and check our social media for any updates due to service schedule changes, inclement weather, or other delays or scheduling conflicts that may affect your booking.
