Who: Adults When: Saturday, September 16 & Sunday, September 17 | 10am-4pm (6 Hours) Pricing: $140/Course | $10/Supplies All Supplies Provided (+ $10 due at booking) Description Nature is the heart of Chinese brush painting. It is intended to be a meditative and spontaneous art form, capturing the essence of an image or idea with very little attention to precise details. Come and learn the basics for this meditative art form. Using the “Four Treasures,” the brush, ink stick, ink stone and the paper, you will learn the techniques to create the “Four Gentleman,” the bamboo, orchid, plum and chrysanthemum. Each “Gentleman” introduces a new stroke or idea and reinforces techniques already learned. Continual demonstrations will be provided throughout the classes, along with individual attention. This workshop will concentrate on learning the brush strokes to create the bamboo. All supplies will be provided (+ $10 due at booking). Linda Schultz has an MS in Art Education and a Certificate of Completion from the prestigious Art Form Gallery for Studies in Chinese Brush Painting. She has studied with various experts and master painters for more than two decades, including in the city of Jan Ying, China. Linda's work is in many private collections and galleries.

Sorry, there are no refunds for missed classes (unless otherwise stated on our website). If you cannot attend all listed classes, we cannot adjust the pricing.
