CALL FOR ART

Candor (noun): the state or quality of being frank, open, and sincere in speech or expression; freedom from bias 

What a wonderful word “candor” is, and how suiting it is to art. What is art, after all, if not an authentic representation of its creator and his or her world? 

 

The Blooming Artist presents Candor, an exhibition featuring a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, and mixed media works. Experience an eye-catching showcase of creative expression with each work a unique manifesto of the human spirit– both the personal and the universal. Tour the thoughts, emotions, and very essence found within the frames or contained within the forms, and find yourself connected through a way made only possible through visual art. 

 

We invite you to witness this display of local artworks from 

November 14th, 2023 to January 13th, 2024.

We welcome local artists to submit work(s) for selection; please review our Call For Art
page to learn more about showing with The Blooming Artist Gallery and being a part of
our newest exhibition. Artists are encouraged to keep the exhibit title and promo in mind as
they choose works for their application and to be creative in doing so to allow for a
diverse, balanced, & harmonious collection. Please contact us if you have questions.
